Self-Guided Bible Study

Dear Friend,

This self-guided Bible study, God’s Word Made Plain, is designed to help you read and understand several important lessons about God and His plan of salvation for mankind.  There is nothing like having peace of mind regarding your relationship with God!  If you are ready for a change in your life, want to know God or become a Christian, this study is a great starting place!  Knowing that Jesus Christ came into this world to add joy, peace and victory in our lives is a part of the Christian message not always experienced or explained due to a lack of knowledge of what God has done for us.

This Bible study explains such significant subjects as the reason for the Law of Moses, sometimes referred to as the 10 Commandments; why Jesus, God’s Son, died on a cross outside Jerusalem 2,000 years ago; how did God begin His church; how you can enter into relationship with God just as the first Christians did; what is water baptism and why and how should you be baptized; what is the Holy Spirit and is “speaking in tongues” for you today?

Before you begin, stop and pray.  Ask God to help you understand what you are reading and to show you His way.  Then, grab your Bible or use one on-line and follow along reading the Scriptures for yourself.  Some of the passages and explanations may not be clear or make sense to you.  Remember, the Scriptures are inspired writings and some passages require further explanation.  This Bible study may take you an hour, a few days or even a week to get through depending on your schedule, but persevere; you can do it!

We would love to hear from you regarding your experience, questions, or if you want to learn more about what you have read.  We are here to help!  Also, if you contact us regarding your completion, we will present to you a God’s Word Made Plain completion certificate at one of our  church services or we can mail the certificate to you.  Click here to get started - God's Word Made Plain.

God bless you as you study His word,

Pastor Roger Simpson
